Terms and Conditions for Green Oaks Lodge

Welcome to Green Oaks Lodge! By making a reservation and booking with us, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before confirming your booking.

General House Rules:

1. Garbage Disposal: Guests are responsible for disposing of garbage properly. This includes plastic, food scraps, dishes, and any mess left behind. Garbage bags will be provided. Kindly leave your garbage bags and recycling in front of the garage door when finished.

2. Bedding: We provide bedding. Please confirm the number of guests and preferred sleeping arrangements (e.g., couples or singles) at least 3 days in advance.

3. Bedding & Towels: Leave sheets on the beds. Gather towels and robes and leave them on the floor in the foyer. Do not leave wet items (including towels, robes, bedding) on beds or couches.

4. Prohibited Items: Weapons, lasers, and explosive devices are strictly prohibited on the property. Legal action will be taken.

5. Smoking: Smoking is prohibited on the property. If you must smoke, please use dedicated ashtrays. Do not leave cigarette butts or drugs around the property.

6. Pets: Pets are not allowed on the property.

7. Environment: We are located in a conservation area. Guests should expect changing weather, slippery/uneven surfaces, bugs, bees, mosquitoes, and wild animals. Use at your own risk, and we recommend bringing bug spray.

8. Noise: Please observe quiet hours between 9 PM and 11 AM to respect neighbors and the environment.

9. First Aid: A first aid kit is located in the outdoor green cabinet.

10. Lock Box Access: A lockbox will provide access to cottages. A pin code will be provided by the administrator.

11. Questions/Assistance: Please contact administration for any questions or assistance before or during your stay.

12. Deposit & Damages: A $500 deposit is required for bookings, refundable after 2 business days provided there are no damages, excessive mess (including garbage, food scraps, and dishes), or unusual cleaning required due to wear and tear.

Sauna Rules:

1. Shower: Please shower thoroughly before and after using the sauna.

2. Whisks: If using whisks/veniki, shower before entering the hot tub or cottages to avoid additional cleaning charges.

3. Sauna Heating: Heating the sauna is prohibited. If you need assistance heating it, please contact the administrator. Always turn off the lights and notify the administrator when you’re finished.

4. Prohibited Substances: Smoking, drugs, alcohol, or any similar substances are prohibited in the sauna.

5. Health: If you feel dizzy or unwell, exit the sauna immediately and seek medical attention. Always consult a doctor before using the sauna if pregnant, have high blood pressure, or are on medications.

6. Supervision: Children and babies must be supervised by an adult at all times.

7. Hydration: Stay hydrated to avoid fainting, dizziness, or other medical episodes. If you experience any issues, leave the sauna and/or call 911 immediately.

8. Safety: Do not touch the sauna heater; it is extremely hot. All doors should remain closed, and lighting should be turned off when leaving.

Gazebo Rules:

1. Hot Tub & Swim Spa: No diving or jumping. Children must be supervised at all times.

2. Drinks: Alcohol and drinks are prohibited in the hot tub or swim spa.

3. Safety: The deck may be slippery, so please walk carefully. Shower before and after using the hot tub and swim spa.

4. Temperature Regulation: Do not adjust the temperature without approval from administration.

5. Cover: Please close the hot tub cover when not in use. Remove bromine floaters before using the hot tub and swim spa and return them after use.

Fire/BBQ/Fire Pit/Bonfire Rules:

1. Firewood: We do not provide firewood or charcoal for BBQs. You may purchase firewood for the fire pit at $20 for 8 pieces.

2. Supervision: All fires must be supervised at all times and never left unattended. Always put out the fire with water when finished and ensure it is fully extinguished.

3. Fire Extinguishers: Familiarize yourself with the locations of fire extinguishers. Call 911 in case of an emergency.
